In such poor environments, these children are forced to grow up early and become little adults. Some take care of the household chores, just so that their parents can make money to support the family without being disturbed by external affairs. Some children become farmers to ease the burden on parents. Some children get up early to take their younger siblings to school, help on houseworks, and assist relatives or neighbors to take care of their business in order to repay the kindness of relatives or neighbors for raising them.
These children's behavior and gratitudes of filial piety are touching, and they have earned the Filial Piety Award.
