Wonderful Hi-Tech’s ESG Action: Filial Piety Award in Sichuan

At Wonderful Hi-Tech, we believe that genuine corporate growth goes beyond innovation and performance—it is rooted in warmth, empathy, and social responsibility. For years, we have recognized the “Social” pillar of ESG as a powerful driver for positive change, taking meaningful action to care for communities and support those in need.

On September 10, Wonderful Hi-Tech hosted the “Gratitude Across the Strait: Filial Piety Award” ceremony in Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan.
The event honored outstanding students who, after the devastating “9·5 Earthquake,” continued to demonstrate filial devotion and support their families. Through this initiative, we extended a heartfelt connection across the Taiwan Strait to children growing up in adversity.

Wonderful Hi-Tech donated over RMB 172,000, providing scholarships and school supplies to 52 students. The support not only alleviated their financial burdens but also served as a reminder that their resilience and kindness are seen, valued, and celebrated.
During the event, Mr. Ringo Chang, President of Wonderful Hi-Tech Group, shared that the true purpose of the Filial Piety Award is to “honor the spirit of gratitude and respect for parents.”
He expressed his hope that this warmth would take root in the students’ hearts—transforming into strength that empowers them to overcome challenges and become “little suns” who bring light and warmth to others.

Looking ahead, Wonderful Hi-Tech will continue to deepen its CSR efforts by supporting disadvantaged communities and advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly No Poverty and Quality Education.
While striving for excellence in the cable and technology industry, we remain committed to spreading love, inspiring hope, and contributing to a better, more inclusive society.

Wonderful promotes the values of gratitude and filial piety and empowers students to grow with resilience, becoming shining lights who brighten both their own paths and the lives of others.
